CCF at UIowa

We exist at the University of Iowa for one main purpose: to assist followers of Jesus to live out their faith and help others do the same. We call this making disciple-makers.

We accomplish this with four tools: prayer for anything and everything, deep study of the Bible, serving others, and joining together in real community.

Come hang out with us at CCF's Home.
It's a place we share just off campus, but we want it to be your Home.
We share it with Lutheran Campus Ministry and its surrounded by Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
Ring the doorbell and welcome home!

John Johnson, Lead Campus Minister

John began working with CCF at UIowa in the fall of 2013.  Before coming to Iowa City, he completed a Master in Divinity from Lincoln Christian Seminary with an emphasis in Worship Studies. John has a passion for board games, Chicago sports teams, movies, and leading others into a deeper relationship with Christ. He is the guy that tends to speak during the Gathering and also likes to buy students coffee and talk about life. In addition to working at CCF, John's life is made busier and more enjoyable because of his wife Mandy, and two kids, Brennan and Zoë.
